• No gizmos - just highly usable sites

• Great service and information

• Clearly posted privacy and security policies

• Provide an opportunity for long term relationships

• Accessibility to a variety of items on a regular basis at one particular place (especially for a shopping site)
  

To sum it all up, surfers just want web sites that will make their lives easier.

And...,

They want customer-focused service...

...with a smile!

Now, I don't think this is an unreasonable request, for any type of sites as a matter of fact.
