The Long Tail - the future business model

Forget about squeezing millions from a few megahits at the top of the charts.

The future of (small and big) businesses is in the millions of niche markets at the shallow end of the bitstream.

This is what The Long Tail business model is indirectly buzzing about. It was first made famous in October 2004 by Chris Anderson of the esteemed Wired magazine.

The buzz had also got Ken Evoy excited as The Long Tail is essentially in line with the SiteSell eBusiness Philosophy.

Why is the latest business/marketing approach important for small business in particular?

Because if you understand the future of small business, how you fit in, and how to capitalize upon it, then chances are, you are most likely to make it big in your business.

Short Tip: Copy Writing

Don't write your strongest point or benefit only once.

You should repeat it at least three (3) times because some people may miss it.

Also when you repeat something it gets stored in your prospects' brain easier.

This may persuade them to buy later on down the road because they will remember it when they really need or want your product.
